The Adams County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, November 30, 2020 at 9:00 am with the following members present: Bobbi Maynes, Scott Akin, Leland Shipley, Doug Birt and Merlin Dixon. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Scott Akin. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Maynes moved, seconded by Dixon to approve today’s agenda along with the minutes of the November 23rd meeting. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.
Malone updated the board on Secondary Roads projects around the county. They are still looking for a bulldozer. Crew is working cutting brush and clearing ditches.
Birt moved, seconded by Shipley to approve the Family Farm Credit Applications as presented and disallowed one application for not meeting the requirements. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.
Birt moved, seconded by Maynes to approve changing the Adams County Handbook from being able to accumulate 150 Comp Hours to capping it at 80 Comp Hours. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.
Discussion was held regarding salary and hourly increases for FY 21/22.
Oral reports were presented by the board members as follows: Shipley – MATURA, Nov 24, via Zoom; and Maynes – Compensation Board, Nov 23, Corning, Crossroads, Nov 23, via Zoom.
Birt moved, seconded by Shipley to adjourn the meeting at 10:45 am. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.
