The Adams County Board of Supervisors met on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 9:00 am with the following members present: Bobbi Maynes, Leland Shipley, Doug Birt, Merlin Dixon and Scott Akin. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Maynes. Akin moved, seconded by Birt to approve today’s agenda and to approve the minutes from April 26, 2021. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.
Akin moved, seconded by Birt to approve Utility Permit #21-04 for Windstream. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.
Malone gave an update on Secondary Roads. Malone discussed pricing of a new pickup for the crew and also the lack of availability of vehicles currently in the market.
The board discussed the Temporary County Redistricting Commission. No action was taken.
Committee and Meeting reports were presented as follows: Birt – Main Street, April 26, Corning; Shipley – Main St., April 26, Corning; Maynes – Main Street, April 26, Corning, Crossroads, April 26, Creston; Dixon – WIOA, April 19, via Zoom, and SCI911, April 28, via Zoom; and Akin – 5th Judicial, April 28, via Zoom, Main Street, April 26, Corning, and ACEDC, April 29, Corning.
Birt moved, seconded by Akin to adjourn the meeting at 10:15 am. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.
