Board Minutes – December 9, 2019

The Adams County Board of Supervisors met on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 9:00 am with the following members present: Leland Shipley, Scott Akin, Doug Birt, Merlin Dixon and Bobbi Maynes. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Shipley. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Birt moved, seconded by Akin to approve today’s agenda and the minutes from December 2, 2019. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.

Secondary Roads Maintenance Supervisor Karl McCarty said they are done with tubes for the year and now working on ditches and clearing out trees.

Birt moved, seconded by Akin to approve Resolution 2019-40 Transferring funds from Rural Basic to Secondary Roads.

County Sanitarian Carl Goodson gave an update on the jobs he has been involved with in the past year. 

Dixon moved, seconded by Akin to appoint Doug Olive as a Jasper Township Trustee. All supervisors voted aye. Motion carried.

Budget Requests were presented as follows: Sheriff Office, Recorder Office, Environmental Health Department, Auditor Office, Elections and Townships.
